The #Vikings are expected to be without three quarterbacks — including starter Kirk Cousins — for tonight's practice after rookie Kellen Mond tested positive for COVID-19, per league sources.
Cousins is a high-risk close contact. The team is going through contact tracing.

The Vikings announced that multiple players will be held out of tonight’s practice inside TCO Stadium, on account of NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 protocols.
Kellen Mond is one of the players being held out, according to a report. As reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Mond’s positive test will result in him and Kirk Cousins missing today’s practice session.
Jake Browning is supposed to get all the reps in Minnesota’s primetime practice, according to Pelissero, so presumably the other quarterback being held out is Nate Stanley.
For Cousins, Mond and Stanley, they are considered high-risk close contacts. The team as a whole is going through contract tracing, per Pelissero.
It’s hard to say how good the Vikings will look without their two best quarterbacks on paper. Without the three aforementioned players tonight, it could be very difficult for the team to do a lot of different drills and routines. We will see.
