While the NBA paused its schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic months ago, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was among the stars who joined in protests over the death of George Floyd.
He drove 15 hours from Boston to Atlanta — near his native Marietta, Georgia — and joined a march there.
Fast-forward to Wednesday, when the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted their playoff game and were joined by other NBA teams. Per reports, there was a players meeting that night in which Brown spoke out, both challenging them on what they would do if the season ended and they left the bubble, and supporting the Bucks’ decision without needing an explanation:

Sources: As some in tonight's meeting wanted to hear Bucks' explanation for making an abrupt decision independent of rest of teams to boycott game, Boston's Jaylen Brown essentially said that the Bucks didn't need to explain themselves and he fully supported what they did today.
