The Los Angeles Rams are not a lock to make the playoffs after losing to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Adding injury to insult, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports starting quarterback Jared Goff injured the thumb on his right throwing hand and could miss the regular-season finale against the Arizona Cardinals.

There are ways the Rams could not secure a playoff spot should they lose to the Cardinals. The Chicago Bears, who finish against the Green Bay Packers, also figure into the Wild-Card playoff spot scenario.
