Report: Jalen Miller set to enter the transfer portal

Jalen Miller has entered the transfer portal.

It appears that after two years with Rutgers basketball, Jalen Miller is set to leave the program.

Miller played in 47 games over his two seasons at Rutgers. He has averaged 6.9 minutes per game off the bench. His best performance last year came against Central Connecticut State where he scored six points on 2-for-3 shooting.

A member of the 2021 recruiting class, Miller played his high school basketball at Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD). He was a three-star recruit who held offers from Akron, Bryant, Iona, James Madison, Loyola, Oral Roberts, Rhode Island, Towson and Wichita State among others.

Rutgers basketball has three incoming players in the class of 2023, highlighted by four-star forward Gavin Griffiths, the highest-ranked recruit in program history to sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI).

Also in the recruiting class is four-star Baye Ndongo and guard Jamichael Davis.

According to 247Sports, the 2023 recruiting class is ranked No. 37 in the nation.
