Houston tackle Josh Jones has been in mock drafts as a late first-round pick, and the Vikings have two first rounders in the back half of the 2020 NFL Draft.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Jones has video conferences with with the Vikings, Patriots, Texans, 49ers, Colts, Eagles, Rams, Chargers, Cardinals, Bucs, Bears, Ravens, Jets and the Packers.

Sure, there are a lot of teams on that list that aren’t the Vikings, but Minnesota has two picks in the first round, and though the offensive line improved in 2019-20, it would help to add a tackle of Jones’ caliber. I think if he’s available at pick No. 25, then the Vikings should probably take him.
Minnesota reportedly has interest in tackle Trent Williams, but his trade price could be high. It would help to find a tackle in the draft on a rookie contract with the way the Vikings’ 2020 Cap Space is right now.
