Report: Glenn Robinson III to leave Sixers, will sign with Kings

Glenn Robinson III will leave the Philadelphia 76ers and sign with the Sacramento Kings.

As the Philadelphia 76ers continue to make big changes up and down their roster, that means players from the previous season have to find other places to play.

One of those players looking for a new home was Glenn Robinson III. The Sixers acquired him, along with Alec Burks, from the Golden State Warriors at the deadline and he averaged 7.7 points and 3.1 rebounds while playing 14 games while dealing with a variety of injuries.

Robinson III was one of the odd men out after the team acquired Seth Curry and Danny Green in draft night trades and he has found a new home with the Sacramento Kings.

The hope for Robinson III now is that he will be able to be a key cog in helping the Kings get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2006. He did shoot 39.1% from deep split between Golden State and Philadelphia so he will be able to help them in the shooting department.
