The annual G League Winter Showcase in December will be reportedly moving from the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas to Orlando, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
The event is an in-season scouting showcase in which every team competes in front of NBA general managers and other executives. Eight teams play for the Showcase Cup, a single-elimination competition with a $100,000 grand prize for the winning squad.
Last year, the Ontario Clippers won the title.
The event could be moved to Disney World, though the details have not been released. The venue previously hosted the NBA and G League during the coronavirus pandemic and could be a future site of the in-season tournament, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.

More than 90 players have earned call-ups to the NBA during or immediately after the last 18 showcases. Last season, 58 players were signed to rosters from the G League, including Saben Lee (Phoenix), Mac McClung (Philadelphia) and Lester Quinones (Golden State).
The G League season tips off on Nov. 10.
