With Bradley Beal unable to play due to health and safety protocols and Kevin Love withdrawing from the squad, Team USA needed to add a pair of players to the 2020 Olympic lineup.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Team USA is calling on another former member of the Golden State Warriors. Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee will join Team USA in Las Vegas for the Olympic exhibition run, per Wojnarowski.
San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson will also join Team USA as a replacement for Beal and Love. Johnson has been training in Las Vegas for with the team as a member of USA’s select team.
