According to Stephen Brooks of 247Sports, former Michigan State football cornerback Ronald Williams II could have found his opportunity at the next level. Brooks reported that Williams told him that he has been invited to the San Francisco 49ers rookie minicamp.
Williams transferred from Alabama after his 2020 season there. He played two seasons with the Spartans, but missed his last two games due to injury. Before Alabama, Williams was one of the top junior college players in the country for Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.
Williams recorded 57 tackles and one interception in his Division I college career.
