Falcons been aggressive this week in calling teams high up, including trying to get all the way to #2 for Chase Young. WASH hasn’t seemed to entertain offers to get out @NFLonFOX

As we inch closer to the 2020 NFL Draft, a lot has been made about teams trying to trade up to the No. 3 or No. 4 picks in order to draft the guy they want, be it a QB or an LT. However, no much buzz has surfaced about teams trying to move up in the draft even further, aiming to grab Ohio State’s Chase Young from the Washington Redskins.
The reason? The Redskins aren’t selling.
According to FOX’s Jay Glazer, the Atlanta Falcons reached out to the Redskins recently to try and move up to the No. 2 spot so they could draft Young and instantly improve their defense. Washington reportedly has little interest in giving up their spot, for a fair price at least.
So what would it take to pry Chase away from Washington? Think somewhere in the realm of multiple first-round picks, and multiple early-round picks as well. Even that might not get the deal done. If you want to trade up for a generational player, you’ll have to mortgage the future on it. Otherwise, in a matter of hours, Young will officially be a member of the Washington Redskins.
