There was some excitement about seeing Mac Jones work out with his two star receivers at Alabama’s pro day on Tuesday. Instead, it will once again be Jones working with other pass-catchers.
According to James Palmer with the NFL Network, DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle are not expected to workout today. Najee Harris, on the other hand, will be available.
The expectation is that Alabama star WRs Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith won’t work out today. Mac Jones will be throwing for a second time today and didn’t have either for the first session. But he will have RB Najee Harris running routes for this session I’m told.

The Crimson Tide’s pro day is expected to get underway at 11 a.m. CT (noon ET) and will include participation from several NFL prospects, including Jones, Harris, Alex Leatherwood and others.
