Report: Dallas Cowboys OC Kellen Moore interviews at Boise State

Will Kellen Moore return to the scene of his college glory at Boise State?

This seems like the obvious move for Boise State. The Dallas Morning News is reporting Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has interviewed for the vacant head coaching job with the Broncos.

Per the report:

Moore, who starred at quarterback there, considers Boise State a special place and regards the position as a highly attractive opportunity. He and Oregon defensive coordinator Andy Avalos, a former Boise State linebackers coach and fellow alumnus, are widely perceived as strong candidates for the position.

“Kellen is a great coach,” quarterback Andy Dalton said Thursday. “I got to play against him when he was at Boise State. Just to see him as a player, his NFL career and now his coaching career, he is doing an unbelievable job.

Bryan Harsin left Boise State for Auburn, turning speculation to Moore, who played at Boise State from 2008-11 and threw for 14,667 yards and 142 touchdowns. Moore was 50-3 for the Broncos.
