Report: Colts tentatively planning to wear color rush uniforms in Week 9

The Colts are tentatively planning to wear color rush uniforms against the New York Jets in Week 9.

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly planning to wear their all-blue color rush uniforms when they host the New York Jets at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 9, per Joel A. Erickson of the Indianapolis Star.

The Colts first debuted the color rush uniforms during the 2017 season as did most teams. Their debut came in a prime-time game against the Denver Broncos, but it didn’t help much in the way of a win.

The Colts have worn the color rush uniforms four times since 2017—once in each season. They’ve done so twice against the Broncos (2017, 2019) as well as the Miami Dolphins (2018) and Houston Texans (2020).

The Colts are 3-1 when wearing the color rush uniforms and have won the last three games while wearing them.

This seems to be subject to change so keep an eye out in the coming weeks for an update.
