Report: Clippers making Terance Mann untouchable in James Harden deal

The Los Angeles Clippers have made Terance Mann untouchable in a James Harden deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers are looking for the right deal in order to get the future Hall of Famer what he wants: a way out of Philadelphia.

Harden has let it be known that his relationship with the front office is beyond repair and he still wants to be moved. In the meantime, he has been a professional and has been working hard with the team in practice with the plan being that he will play in the team’s final preseason game on Oct. 20 against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Los Angeles Clippers are the one team that has been consistently mentioned in Harden trade talks as they are his preferred destination. However, the Clippers have been difficult when it comes to matching Philadelphia’s asking price.

Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer:

But the plan to add draft-pick swaps in a package for Harden hasn’t moved the needle for the Sixers. They’ve said they’re interested in a package that includes Clippers guard Terance Mann and first-round picks. But the source said Morey knows Mann is untouchable.

Terance Mann is a good player. There is no denying that. However, he is a role player and not a star player on Harden’s level. The Clippers are still not being the most reasonable franchise at the moment when it comes to the Harden trade talks. If they really want The Beard, they are going to have to stop being so stubborn and meet Philadelphia’s demands for a deal to happen.
