The Tom Brady sweepstakes is in full effect, and it appears to have come down to two teams.
The Chargers and Buccaneers have each made an offer of at least $30 million annually to Brady, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
The report came after Brady announced that he would be leaving the Patriots after 20 seasons.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Brady’s decision on a new team “isn’t likely” to come Tuesday while the 42-year old weighs interest from around the league.
A $30 million annual salary would make him one of the top 10 highest-paid QBs in the NFL, per Spotrac.
Los Angeles currently has $44 million in available salary cap space, per Over The Cap.
We now wait and see where the six-time Super Bowl will suit up in 2020.
