According to NFL reporter Ari Meirov, former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Mark Gilbert is signing with the Steelers again to join the practice squad.
Gilbert was originally an undrafted free agent out of Duke and was on the Steelers roster. But after he was waived joined the Lions and ened up on their active roster for eight games last season. Gilbert didn’t start any games and finishe with three tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble.
Former #Lions CB Mark Gilbert, cousin of Darrelle Revis, is signing today with the #Steelers practice squad, per source. Gilbert was with Pittsburgh last season before Detroit signed him to their active roster. Steelers get him back now.
