Report: Bucs to interview Georgia’s Todd Monken for OC job

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will reportedly interview Georgia’s Todd Monken next week for their open offensive coordinator position

It looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will add another big name to their list of candidates to replace Byron Leftwich.

Georgia offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Todd Monken will interview for the Bucs’ open offensive coordinator position next week, per ESPN’s Jenna Laine.

Monken is a familiar name to Bucs fans, thanks to his two-year stint in the same position recently, under then-head coach Dirk Koetter. More recently, Monken has been helping the Bulldogs to back-to-back national titles, and one of the more dominant runs in recent college football history.

This will be the sixth known interview for the Bucs regarding their offensive coordinator job, as head coach Todd Bowles revamps most of his coaching staff on that side of the ball.
