#Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette was back down to 245 pounds when he reported to camp today, per source. Veteran RB is back in shape. Crisis averted.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette took his share of criticism in recent weeks after a report surfaced that coaches were unhappy with the shape he was in when he reported for the team’s mandatory minicamp earlier this offseason.
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported that after signing a three-year extension and skipping voluntary workouts, Fournette showed up to the minicamp at nearly 260 pounds.
Fournette laughed off the criticism, and has reported to Bucs training camp at 245 pounds, per Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus.
While Fournette is listed at 228 pounds on the team’s official roster, Pewter Report’s Scott Reynolds reports that Fournette played somewhere between 235-240 pounds for Tampa Bay last season.
If that’s the case, Fournette showing up to camp at 245 is well within range of last year’s playing weight, especially with a full training camp ahead in the humid Tampa heat.
