#Bucs QB Tom Brady will receive a veteran rest/personal day every Wednesday during the season, sources say. A new reality for the 45-year old.

When you’re Tom Brady, you’ve earned the right to take a day off.
That’s exactly what the GOAT is planning to do, too, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Brady will take a veteran rest day on Wednesday every week this season.
That’s not exactly out of the ordinary for Brady, who did something similar for much of the 2021 season. At 45 years old, it only makes sense for Brady to make sure he gives his body the time it needs to rest during the week, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been willing to accommodate such things throughout his tenure with the team.
Plenty of other veteran stars have been given routine off days from practice over the last few years in Tampa Bay, but Brady is obviously the one that will always get the most attention.
Those off days didn’t seem detrimental to Brady last year, when he led the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes at 44 years old, in his 22nd season in the league. Don’t be surprised if the extra rest helps him be just as productive this season.
