According to earlier reports, the Cleveland Browns will be without quarterback Deshaun Watson for the second straight game but he might not be the only one sitting out. According to Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, the team is expected to be without left guard Joel Bitonio and tight end David Njoku as well.
Njoku is dealing with burns to his face and arm that he suffered before the Ravens game. Njoku recently shared images of the burns he suffered on his Instagram, showing how badly he was truly injured and it makes sense why he would sit this week.
It came as a surprise earlier this week when reports came out of nowhere that guard Joel Bitonio left the Ravens game on crutches. It’s going to be a tough day for the offense without Watson, Bitonio, and Njoku as the team faces the league’s best team. But Jordan Akins and Michael Dunn the likely replacements have been serviceable over their careers.
