According to a report, Oklahoma forward Brady Manek becomes the latest Sooner to enter his name into the transfer portal.
Manek is looking to leave Norman as a graduate transfer after four seasons with the team. During his four-year career, he would play in 122 games with 111 starts. Over the past year, Manek recorded the second-lowest points per game total of his career. His lowest came during his freshman season. He wasn’t asked to be the guy with scorers like De’Vion Harmon and Austin Reaves.
With the retirement of Lon Kruger from the game, there has been a mass exodus within the basketball program. Four players have entered the transfer portal and two more have declared for the NBA draft. It remains to be seen just who is left to return next season.
With reports that Porter Moser is expected to become the Sooners next basketball coach, he will have his work cut out for him as he tries to field a team.
