Report: Bears signing safety Tashaun Gipson to 1-year deal

After not addressing safety in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bears have upgraded the safety position with the reported signing of Tashaun Gipson to a one-year deal.
Gipson was cut by the Houston Texans earlier this week — just one year after signing a three-year, $22.5 million deal.
There’s no denying that Gipson is a clear upgrade at the safety position, and he immediately figures to be the starting strong safety job opposite Pro Bowler Eddie Jackson
