It look as though former Alabama offensive tackle Scott Lashley has found a new home, and it won’t be too far away from Tuscaloosa.
According to Paul Jones, who covers Mississippi State for 247Sports, Lashley is expected to enroll at the school as a graduate transfer. Matt Zenitz with AL.com confirmed the news:
Source confirmed that Alabama offensive line transfer Scott Lashley is expected to transfer to Mississippi State, as first reported by @PJ247Sports.
Is a grad transfer and will be eligible to play this season.

This is a major addition for Mississippi State and new head coach Mike Leach, as the Bulldogs will lose two starters, left tackle Tyree Phillips and right tackle Tommy Champion, to graduation.
While Lashley never found his way into the starting lineup at Alabama, he was a talented, four-star prospect coming out of high school.
The 6-foot-7, 310-pound West Point (Miss.) native was the No. 201 overall prospect and No. 20 offensive tackle in the 2016 recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Lashley will be considered a graduate transfer, which means he’ll be eligible immediately for the Bulldogs.
