The 49ers on Monday made a blockbuster trade, sending defensive lineman DeForest Buckner to Indianapolis for the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter reported a new deal will pay Armstead $21 million per year. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract and the 49ers were already up against the salary cap.
