It’s one of the most iconic moments of Conor McGregor’s career, and the UFC has released a new look at the spectacular finish.
After a bitter build-up to the UFC 194 clash in December 2015, Conor McGregor became the UFC’s undisputed featherweight champion with a stunning 13-second knockout of Jose Aldo, who hadn’t tasted defeat in over a decade.
In this new clip, UFC officials stick with one camera operator’s shot from the start of the fight to the moment the hand was raised, giving fans a unique insight into not only the finish, itself, but also the immediate aftermath, where McGregor’s camp celebrated the shocking finish and Aldo was left watching the video monitors to try and figure out what went wrong.
McGregor’s own team even expressed disbelief at how easy the finish came, at which point “The Notorious” reminded them of the power of his “left hammer.”
And if none of that interests you, it also features Artem Lobov with hair, as well as a cameo from former UFC matchmaker Joe Silva, and really, isn’t that enough?

McGregor returns to action later this month at UFC 246, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view headliner sees McGregor face Donald Cerrone in a welterweight contest.
