The San Antonio Spurs and Reggie Bullock agreed to a contract buyout just a few days ago ahead of the start of training camp. The former North Carolina forward was placed on waivers but quickly found a new home.
Per Shams Charania, Bullock plans to sign with the Houston Rockets and stay in the state of Texas after he clears waivers. Bullock recently played with the Dallas Mavericks and then signed with the Spurs this offseason.
But with playing time likely slim with San Antonio, it makes sense to go elsewhere.

For Bullock, he has the chance to mentor a young roster that is up and coming in the Western Conference. The 32-year-old Bullock averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game a year ago.
