Refs missed a blatant holding call against the Chiefs on a key 3rd-and-23 conversion

The refs missed this one BAD.

It’s time once again for focusing on a ref’s horrible missed call, which feels like a weekly event in the NFL these days.

This wasn’t so hard to find, because fans everywhere were mad about it. With the Kansas City Chiefs facing a 3rd-and-23 midway through the fourth quarter in the game they’d eke out a win in on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes sat back in the pocket for what seemed like forever.

As you’ll see in the video below, Jermaine Johnson (No. 11) was wrapped up and then some by the Chiefs’ Donovan Smith. Johnson even got a hand out to protest as he continued to be held. No whistle, and Mahomes took off for a run that would lead to a first down:
