Redskins training camp to be held at team facilities in Landover, MD.

All 32 NFL teams were told on Tuesday that they will be forced to hold their training camp sessions at their team facilities this summer.

With the assumption that all 32 NFL teams will eventually hold training camps this summer ahead of the 2020 NFL season, news was released on Tuesday that will cause a slight shift in where those training camps take place.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, all NFL teams will be required to stay at their home facilities to conduct camps, rather than going to an of-campus location in order to do so. For the Washington Redskins, this means that the eventual training camp sessions will take place at their training facility in Landover, MD, rather than Richmond, VA.

It is still unclear whether or not fans will be able to attend the camps, but that seems like a stretch at this point in time. What the league is currently focused on is getting summer programs and training camp into full swing, so that the NFL season can start, hopefully as scheduled.

If it means having no fans in attendance, I think we can all agree that it’s an okay price to pay, as long as we get football this fall.
