Redskins take full control of Trent Williams trade talks, leaving his agent aside

The Redskins had been allowing both Trent and his agent Vincent Taylor to work on potential trades, but they have since taken full control.

It looks like the Washington Redskins are taking the wheel when it comes to a Trent Williams trade going forward.

While the team has been allowing both Trent and his agent Vince Taylor to work on a trade offer from other teams over the past couple of months, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, the team is taking back full control of the situation and working on a trade themselves.

This may mean that a trade is near for the seven-time Pro-Bowler, or it may mean that the team was simply tired of nothing happening on the trade front. Whatever the reason, the Redskins seem to be all in on trading Williams before the draft on Thursday, and at this point, it seems incredibly likely to happen.
