The Washington Redskins made a highly-encouraging roster addition last week when they added cornerback Ronald Darby to the roster on a one-year deal, allowing him to get onto the field and prove his worth.
Darby will have a lot to prove, as he is coming off an injury-riddled stretch of his career, signing his second one-year deal in a row. In a conference call with media members that cover the Redskins, Darby opened up about what he thinks can be achieved in Washington, why he wanted to play with Ron Rivera, who seems to always get the best out of his cornerbacks, and which matchup he is most looking forward to this fall. Here are the best quotes from the conversation.
