Redskins agree to trade CB Quinton Dunbar to Seattle Seahawks for a 5th-round pick

The Redskins have agreed to a trade with the Seahawks that will give Washington a fifth-round pick in return for Quinton Dunbar.

The Washington Redskins have reportedly agreed to a trade with the Seattle Seahawks to send cornerback Quinton Dunbar to Washington.

Dunbar, who was transitioned to the CB position after going undrafted as a wide receiver, became the best pass-defender for the Redskins in 2019, and he graded out as one of the best CBs in the NFL. Unfortunately, a desire for a contract extension put him in a dispute with the Redskins front office, and he asked to be released or traded earlier this spring. Now it appears that he will get his wish, and go to a contending team in Seattle.

The Redskins made a trade for QB Kyle Allen earlier on Monday, giving up a fifth-round pick in order to get him. Now they have replenished their draft stock by receiving the same level of pick in return.
