The cornerback position for the Oregon Ducks took a slight hit on Tuesday afternoon, with freshman Jaylin Davies entering the transfer portal and looking for a new team.
This is a hit for the Ducks, who are looking for someone to step up at the CB spot this coming season after losing Mykael Wright to the NFL draft, and DJ James to the transfer portal, where he committed to Auburn.
Davies did not see much playing time in his freshman season with the Ducks, and he picked up just three total tackles in the Alamo Bowl at the end of the year. It does not come as a major shock to see him transfer, since Oregon does have an abundance of young talent now on the roster vying for a spot on the field in the secondary.
