I’ve seen a ton of double plays turned in baseball games. It’s something that happens all the time. Some of them are routine. Some of them are pulled off with some crafty moves by infielders who need to get the ball away quickly to make things happen.
Then we have what happened last night in Chicago. I’ve never seen a double play like this before and I can’t stop watching it. Reds lefty pitcher Mike Minor snagged a comebacker behind his back, which was pretty darn cool. And then he had the composure to throw it to second base to start one of the best double plays you’ll ever see.

I mean, Minor made that look way too easy. My goodness.
Twitter was in awe.
