Re-drafting the new Draft Wire mock draft for the Steelers

Which four-round mock draft do you prefer?

Our friends over at Draft Wire have just dropped a new four-round mock draft. Be sure to head over there and check out the whole thing. We decided to do something a little different this time around and re-draft it just for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have a second-round pick, a third-round pick and two fourth-round picks and the rules of this game are we cannot keep any of the players chosen by Draft Wire.

Their mock draft broke down like this for the Steelers.

Second round-DL Rashard Lawrence, LSU

Third round-OL Jonah Jackson, Ohio State

Fourth round-WR Van Jefferson, Florida

Fourth round-TE Thaddeus Moss, LSU

This is an excellent haul. I’m not sure if Pittsburgh is going to prioritize an interior offensive lineman and a tight end at this point but there’s no denying the talent is there.

Here’s how I would change things up.

Second round-OT Prince Tega Wanogho, Auburn

Third round-RB Zack Moss, Utah

Fourth round-LB Jordan Mack, Virginia

Fourth round-WR John Hightower, Boise State

My mock goes in a very different direction for the Steelers with only one position being the same. I like the idea of Pittsburgh drafting a tackle early to groom to replace Alejandro Villanueva and Moss would compete for reps early.

But let us know which of these mock drafts you would prefer for the Steelers in 2020.
