The fighters haven’t stepped on the scale yet to become official for UFC 252, but we’ve got the pay-per-view’s opening video package.
UFC president Dana White released the promo for the main card Friday and said the heavyweight title trilogy rematch between champion [autotag]Stipe Miocic[/autotag] (19-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) and ex-champ [autotag]Daniel Cormier[/autotag] (22-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC) will be – in all caps – “the GREATEST heavyweight championship fight ever!”
Narrated by Ron Perlman of “Sons of Anarchy” fame over a backdrop of the song “Redemption” by Zayde Wolf, the montage dives into the history between Miocic and Cormier from their first two meetings – one win for Cormier and one for Miocic. And it also touches on the co-main event bantamweight bout between [autotag]Sean O’Malley[/autotag] (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and [autotag]Marlon Vera[/autotag] (17-6-1 MMA, 9-5 UFC).

UFC 252 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
