The 2023 recruiting class is starting to take shape as some of the top players at their respective position groups are trimming down their lists of the top schools they’re considering, and for Texas A&M, they just found themselves included in 2023 Wide Receiver Jalen Hale’s “Top 6” competing with USC, Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and Texas.
Jalen Hale, standing at 6’2″, 175lbs, attends Longview High School in Longview, Texas. Hale is an athletically built prospect who shines in contested catch situations with the help of his natural strength and also displays run-after-catch ability because of said strength, making him a go-to target in third-down situations, or simply when a big play is needed. Hale is also a three-sport athlete, competing in basketball and track and field as well as football, while notably excelling on the basketball court at the 5A level in Texas High School Athletics.

According to 247Sports, Jalen Hale is listed as a top 10 nationally ranked wide receiver prospect, and a top 70 ranked player in the nation. Overall, Jalen Hale has been on Texas A&M’s radar for quite a while, and as one of the most dominant recruiters in Texas for the last couple of years, There’s a reason why they have landed in the “Top 6” and hope to be at the finish line when he begins to narrow down his choices even further.
