KNOXVILLE – As Tennessee football brings in new talent during the Early Signing Period, Vols Wire is releasing player profiles on each individual that signs with UT.

Safety Doneiko Slaughter out of Roswell, Ga. signed for Tennessee on Tuesday morning, giving the Vols another defensive back for defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley.
A three-star prospect per the 247 Sports Composite, Slaughter put together 50 tackles, five TFLs and three interceptions during his senior season at Roswell High School.
Previously committed to Arizona State, Slaughter changed his commitment to Tennessee on Dec. 14, less than a week before the Early Signing Period.
The No. 49 rated safety in the country also held offers from Miami, Boise State, Mississippi State and Maryland among other Power 5 programs.
