Recruit Nate Ament has postponed his visit with Kentucky basketball

Class of 2025 forward Nate Ament postpones his visit with Kentucky basketball.

A few weeks ago, Kentucky basketball set up a visit with 2025 recruit Nate Ament. He was scheduled to be in Lexington on Wednesday, August 28th. That visit, however, has now been postponed according to Jacob Polacheck of Kentucky Sports Radio.

Ament is a 6’9″, 185 lb power forward out of Virginia. He is ranked as the number seven overall player in the 2025 class by 247sports, and is rated as a five-star player. They have him as the number five player at his position in the class.

The Virginia big man is a highly sought-after recruit, with offers from Duke, Tennessee, and North Carolina among others. He hasn’t really begun visits with any program yet, though he does have one scheduled with Virginia next month.

Wildcats fans will have to wait and see if Ament reschedules his visit with Kentucky. He would be a fantastic addition to the roster if they can get him into Lexington.
