Facing North Carolina in their second game of the day in a rematch of Saturday’s loss, the Tigers got off to a hot start and held onto their lead in an 8-4 win to force a decisive Game 7 in the regional final on Monday. With a regional win on the road over the Tar Heels, LSU would host a super regional at Alex Box Stadium after national seed Arizona was eliminated at the Tucson Regional this weekend.
