A huge role exists for second-year running back Jerome Ford after the Cleveland Browns let Kareem Hunt walk and did not sign or draft another ball carrier outside of undrafted free agent Hassan Hall. However, Ford may now have to fight back an injury as he limped off Monday’s training camp practice.
It may now look like the Browns will have to delve into the free agency waters at the running back position if this injury to Ford turns out to linger. Look for John Kelly Jr., Demetric Felton, and Hassan Hall to continue to get the bulk of the carries this preseason.
