Razorbacks long-time guard enters transfer portal

Arkansas guard Rylee Langerman will enter the transfer portal with two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Rylee Langerman’s effect on the Arkansas basketball team went well beyond her statistical line. She’ll be missed from next year’s team.

Langerman, a 5-foot-7 guard, who spent three years with the Razorbacks is entering the transfer portal according to multiple reports.

A Norman, Oklahoma, product, Langerman was Arkansas’ best perimeter defender and regular ball-handler off the bench for the last two years, especially. She averaged 2.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 17 minutes a game as a reserve.

Langerman joins senior forward Erynn Barnum in the portal. Barnum was an All-SEC player from Little Rock who annoucned in March she would spend her super-senior season elsewhere.

Coach Mike Neighbors added five players to the roster over the winter, headlined by McDonald’s All-American guard Taliah Scott.
