Apparently the coaches weren’t as disillusioned with Arkansas as the media after Saturday’s 88-66 setback against Oklahoma in Tulsa.
The Razorbacks did ultimately fall to 19th in the Ferris Mowers poll, however.
Now Arkansas has two weeks to get back in the good graces of the pollsters with games against Hofstra on Saturday in North Little Rock and against Elon next Tuesday in Bud Walton Arena.
Southeastern Conference play begins Dec. 29 for Arkansas at Mississippi State.
Other SEC teams ranked in the coaches poll include Alabama at 8th, Auburn at 14th, Tennessee at 18th, LSU at 20th and Kentucky at 21st.
