The SEC announced their postseason all-league members and two Arkansas players were to the party.
Erynn Barnum was named to the All-SEC second team, and Saylor Poffenbarger earned All-Freshman team honors, marking the fifth consecutive year, an Arkansas player was part of an All-SEC team.
Barnum led the team in shooting percentage (57%) and points (16.3) on her way to being recognized as one of the most improved players in the country. She finished the regular season with nine 20-point games, nine more than last season.
Against Ole Miss, she set a new career-high scoring 37 points, a top-ten performance in Arkansas history.
Poffenbarger came to Fayetteville as a transfer but was highly touted out of high school.
The UConn transfer set a school record after being named SEC Freshman of the week five times, leading the conference this season. She led the team in minutes played while averaging nine points a game. Defensively is where she shined, leading the team with 35 blocks and 18 steals.
Both tied for most rebounds on the team averaging 6.6 per contest.
Next for the Hogs is the SEC Tournament. They’ll take on Missouri as the eighth-seed Thursday.
