Ravens to release DB Jordan Toles after signing Eddie Jackson to a 1-year deal

The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly released rookie defensive back Jordan Toles after signing Eddie Jackson to a one-year deal.

The Ravens kicked off their 2024 training camp on Sunday, and one undrafted rookie received some devasting news before the first session.

Baltimore agreed to a one-year deal with Eddie Jackson on Friday, just hours before veterans reported to the Under Armour Performance Center for training camp. Aaron Wilson reports that the move put the Ravens at 91 players on the roster, and the team released defensive back Jordan Toles before the practice.

Toles is a Baltimore native and logged 66 tackles, along with three interceptions, in 2023 during his final season at Morgan State University.

Toles was an All-MEAC First Team selection, emerged as one of the league’s best players during the 2023 season, became an Aeneas Williams Award finalist, and was presented as the best defensive back in HBCU Division I college football based on performance on the field, athletic ability, and character.
