The Ravens are hosting a rival on a free-agent visit this week.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva is taking a free-agent visit with the Ravens. For the past six years, Villanueva suited up with the Steelers.
A piece of interesting free agent news: #Steelers FA OT Alejandro Villanueva is set to visit the #Ravens this week, league source said. With some moving parts on Baltimore’s O-line, they plan to check out Villanueva in person.

The offensive line and tackle spot specifically has been a spotlight for the Ravens this offseason. Ronnie Stanley is expected to return from injury, but Orlando Brown Jr. has requested a trade.
The 32-year-old Villanueva has been the Steelers’ starting left tackle for the past several years, but Villanueva potentially could be a plug-and-play replacement at right tackle for Brown if he departs.
Villanueva, who’s been healthy for the entirety of his career, was graded very highly from Pro Football Focus in 2020. Overall, the football analytics outlet gave Villanueva a 74.6 mark last season. That number was good for their 28th best tackle in the league last year.
