The Baltimore Ravens selected tight end Charlie Kolar with one of their six fourth-round selections in the 2022 draft. The former Iowa State star was expected to play a role in the team’s offense at the beginning of the year, but sports hernia surgery has sidelined the rookie for months, causing him to miss the entirety of both the preseason and the 2022 season so far.
Baltimore passed along good news on the Kolar front on Tuesday, as they announced that Kolar has been cleared to return to practice. As he hits the practice field it will begin his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve, and will mark another positive step in his recovery.
