Ravens safety Earl Thomas responds to alleged altercation with wife

TMZ reported Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas was involved in an altercation with his wife. He responded in a video.

A report from TMZ on Thursday night alleges that Ravens safety Earl Thomas was held at gunpoint by his wife, Nina Thomas, after an April 13 altercation involving several people.

Thomas took to Instagram before the report was released in an attempt to get ahead of the news.

“I guess I’ll be on TMZ in the morning,” he wrote on the video caption. “Somehow they got a police report with details … Obviously this is not how I wanted my birthday breakfast to start out or my birthday but it is what it is ..”

Thomas signed with the Ravens last offseason on a four-year, $55 million deal. He posted two interceptions and four pass breakups in 15 games.
