The Baltimore Ravens traded away wide receiver Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals in a move that was widely unexpected throughout the NFL. The trade left Baltimore with very little experience at the position, so many believe they could add a veteran wideout or two via free agency or trade.
On Thursday, Josina Anderson of USA Today reported that Baltimore is doing their “due diligence” at the wide receiver position. She also says she wouldn’t be surprised if the Ravens signed a free agent wideout “if the price is right” now that the draft is over.
Yes. Baltimore is doing its due diligence at the wide receiver position. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them snag a free agent—if the price is right— now that the Draft is done & calls around the league have picked up some since then. https://t.co/7WrPvhXCsh
