Ravens release statement after TE Mark Andrews was involved in a car accident

The Baltimore Ravens released a statement following Mark Andrews’s Wednesday morning car accident

Baltimore Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews will miss several days of practice after being involved in a Wednesday morning car accident en route to the Under Armour Performance Center.

Andrews said via the Ravens: “I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and well wishes. This is a great reminder about the importance of wearing seatbelts and remaining alert while driving a car.”

The Ravens released this statement on the matter:

Last season, Andrews had 45 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games after he fractured his fibula in a win over the Bengals.

With Andrews out, Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar will see more snaps during Balitmore’s Saturday preseason matchup against the Falcons.
