The Baltimore Ravens have been dealt a plethora of injuries since before the start of the 2021 season. Despite the talent lost for the year and some sidelined for a period of time, the team has done a great job of calling up players from the practice squad and having backups take over the reigns.
On Wednesday, the Ravens released their first injury report heading into their Week 4 matchup against the undefeated Denver Broncos. The list features many starters who did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, with some new faces popping up on the injury report this time around.

Headlining the list is quarterback Lamar Jackson, who according to the injury report is dealing with a back injury. It was announced in the early afternoon on Wednesday that Jackson was held out of practice due to general soreness. This sounds like more of a precaution and should not hinder Jackson’s availability on Sunday.
Tackles Alejandro Villanueva (knee) and Ronnie Stanley (ankle) found themselves not participating on Wednesday while wide receiver Sammy Watkins (rest) seems to have been given a veteran day.
Defensive end Derek Wolfe (back/hip) finds himself back on the list ahead of a possible revenge game. Safety DeShon Elliott (quad), cornerback Tavon Young (knee) and outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (shoulder) close out the report
Meanwhile, the Broncos also had eight players on their injury report with offensive linemen Dalton Risner (DNP) and Graham Glasgow (DNP) as well as running back Melvin Gordon III (limited) being the most notable.
